Mercedes-Benz VISION AVTR Concept Car

Mercedes-Benz designers paired up with the design team from James Cameron’s movie Avatar to create an all-electric concept car that blends the world of Pandora with the performance of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The VISION AVTR has a very unique design that was heavily influenced by the interconnectivity between the fictional Na’vi people and their planet. Let’s go through some of the innovative and unique features on the VISION AVTR!

The concept car is loaded with features and capabilities that emphasis the interaction between human, machine and nature; like “bionic flaps” that represent reptile scales, the ability to move sideways 30-degrees, mimicking the movement of a crab, and the biometric connection between vehicle and driver that allows the driver to control different functions with their hand.
