Celebrate Caturday
The first event will be October 5 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Bring your cat to Laurelhurst Park to enjoy the outdoors and meet other cat lovers.
VegFest
This two-day event will start on October 5th at the Oregon Convention Center. There will be a variety of food samples, health and nutrition speakers, activities and Fitness Stage workouts. Tickets range from $7 to $17.
2019 Sci-Fi Film Fest
Throughout the whole month of October, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry will be presenting its fifth annual Sci-Fi Film Festival. There will be over 25 films shown over the course of the festival. Day tickets are $7 for adults.

Exquisite Creatures
Starting October 5th through February, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry will be hosting the Exquisite Creatures exhibit. This is an artistic experience that shows the relationship between the natural world and humanity.
Tea & Poetry
To celebrate Tea and Poetry Month, Lan Su Chinese Garden will be hosting a series of events and activities. General admission is $12.95. The event will kick off October 5th at 11am.
